For its location, Gosong Senggora is in Kumai District, West Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan Province. Why is it called Gosong Senggora? The word Gosong itself is a term for shallow seas, because this destination has a seawater depth of between one and four meters, so the seabed can be seen quite clearly.

If described, Gosong Senggora is a stretch of white sand in the middle of a clear ocean which is complemented by the presence of a gust of sea breeze. The determination of this one area as a conservation area also did not occur without reason. The reason is, there are various potential resources that can be enjoyed and utilized in this area.

Starting from coral reefs and seagrass beds, the presence of dugongs, turtles, sea cucumbers, large lola or snails, and clams or large shellfish that inhabit warm seas. The various treasures and underwater animals mentioned above can be enjoyed by tourists by doing snorkeling activities. In addition, the status of conservation areas also aims to protect and utilize the potential of existing fisheries, preserve various marine habitats that are important for the ecosystem, and protect protected animal species.

Unfortunately, the Senggora Gosong area is still not widely known more widely. Even though this location has an attraction in the form of sea water as clear as glass, plus the coral reef area and seagrass beds are still well preserved. The route and access that needs to be taken to come to Gosong Senggora is also not too difficult.
